ACCOLADES OH!!!!! ACCOLADES OR ELSE!!!!

It was one of those days where I felt like I'd done so much in the previous months and was feeling a little burned out. I decided to go surfing on the Bella Naija website and stumbled on this headline - "Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie speaks at Amherst College's 197th Commencement and receives Honorary Degree". By the way, the comments section on Bella Naija website gets me cracking up many times. To say it's hilarious would be putting things mildly. I love being a Nigerian. Even in terrible situations, we can still tell jokes that'll crack the ribs.  These were some of the comments I saw : "This woman is marketing herself so well. Once her next book comes out it will surely outsell the others. So many new audiences. See the way she is claiming Honorary Degrees and Awards left right and center". Another said, "That's what I tell people. Not always about what you study but confidence, smartness and a bit of luck or fate

MOVIE REVIEW - Banana Island Ghost

Banana Island Ghost was written and produced by BB Sasore and directed by Omorinsola Spaine. Executive producers of this hilarious movie include Biola Alabi and Derin Adeyokunnu. Banana Island Ghost was coproduced by Chioma Omeruah, Enyi Omeruah, Tolu Olusoga, Ayo Osunriade, Michael Ugwu and Adenike Adekanbi. The movie stars actors like Chioma Omeruah(Chigul), Bimbo Manuel, Tina Mba, Kemi 'Lala' Akindoju, Akah Nnani, Ozzy Agu, Damilola Adegbite, Ali Nuhu, Makida Moka and Saheed Balogun. I was pleasantly surprised to see Saheed Balogun. I haven't seen him in a movie for some time now, hence my surprise. This is a light hearted kinda movie. Well, we can call it a feel good movie. It's a funny one that'll get you laughing out loud. I liked the action parts towards the end of the movie. The police crew completely cracked me up.
